The Blessing Way is named after a Navaho healing ceremony, which is used at a turning point in a person’s life to restore harmony with self, others, and the Creator.

The sun symbolizes the promise of hope and successful readjustment beyond the mountains, which symbolize the many barriers encountered during the process of community reintegration and recovery.
