We are here to provide a safety net for those who might be falling through the cracks. Almost all of our services are free. Our programs are primarily for those who are spiritually-centered and reentering the Providence area and nearby communities.
We would be happy to work with you and your clients. Only those who have completed spiritually-oriented courses while incarcerated are currently eligible for case management; however, anyone who registers can attend the Life Skills sessions or Spiritual Circles.
It's simple. You complete a simple Intake Form and Interview or become a Blessing Way member and then you and/or your family member can participate as needed. Call us at 350-0021 or e-mail us at: blessingwayinfo@yahoo.com

We offer a variety of services. See the section on: What we Offer.

We welcome adult family members or friends who want to see you successfully resettle in the community. Many times family members or spouses join readjustment counseling sessions or our circles upon request of the member. If you have someone who is positive and supportive of your readjustment you want to accompany you, we welcome them to join and work as a team

Currently they are free, thanks to grants, private donations, and volunteer hours, but we always welcome help in keep The Blessing Way going, if you want to volunteer with mailings or other tasks. Let us know.

The Blessing Way can’t give you a job. Right now, we would refer you to other agencies in the community who are equipped to assist you.

Yes. Our Life Education sessions and Spiritual Circles are open to you, your family members, those in recovery, and anyone in the community who finds them helpful.
You have to decide that yourself. Why not give one a try and see for yourself? Many of us find that the circle helps us to get centered and to get inner resources to better attack the problems of the week. In the circle, you have a chance to be really heard---to bring your sorrows, complaints, hopes, and joys of the week and gather a little inner strength to take on one more week. You can also learn a lot from others by listening.

We always need volunteers to help us in:
Fundraising events
Family Christmas party (Angel Tree)
Media outreach (newsletter)
Office help (mailings)
Direct service (circle leaders, mentors, job coaches)
Board members

We are a young faith-based, community agency that is growing fast and expanding services as we grow. Our plans for the near future are to provide help for ex-offenders in job readiness, placement, and retention as well as identify jobs in the community that might be open to those with a felony record. Check our website for new programs and services.
