So many blessings have flowed our way
– thanks to the generous sharing of time, talent, and treasure of so many.

Our Goals

  • To support the successful reintegration of those released from prison or drug treatment into the community.
  • To support the emotional and spiritual growth of our participants as a tool to prevent relapse and/or return to crime.
  • To encourage healthy life-styles through life-skills education, spiritual support, and personalized guidance.
  • To work in partnership with family members and friends of our participants

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

We welcome you to share your skills with us. We need help with many things: special and community-building events, the children’s Christmas party, Spiritual Circles, Family Outreach transportation, office work, mailings, Board governance, and grant writing.

 

Operation Get Started

  • Volunteer/intern Job Coach Mentors needed for Operation Get Started. See below for the job description. Application and contact information is included in the job description.

    • Operation Get Started refers to the $56,303 grant awarded to The Blessing Way by The U.S. Department of Labor for workforce and career development of ex-offenders, homeless, and those in recovery of substance abuse.
